The Le Suquet district also known as the old city is just another Cannes without the Croisette's gloss but with it's own special beauty.
The historical Cannes' part includes only several streets and you can look around just in an hour. But Oddviser recommends you to spend more time here: to see the harbor in the sunlights and to taste home wine in a cosy restaurant in the evening.
1. The district is located on the hill near the Old Port. Climb up the hill.
2. Walk through the narrow streets and visit the old castle, where the museum de la Castre is placed: here from the tower you will see the port and the whole Cannes.
3. Choose one of the restaurants: they are small and really french.
Le Suquet or the Cannes Old city is the district with several narrow streets, cosy restaurants and the observation deck with the great view of the Old port.
