One of the most famous Giants' Tombs of Sardinia, that was built in the Bronze Age and still raises questions among scientists.
Tomb Coddu Vecchiu, Sardinia
Coddu Vecchiu is Giants' grave, one of a few hundred scattered throughout Sardinia, and the most impressive. Although the name of the "Giants' grave" place scares many visitors, but in fact to the graves Codd Vecchio is irrelevant. According to legend, the giants were buried here, but scientists are still struggling with the question, which actually served as the stone structures.

It is believed that the small door leading to the tomb was a symbol of the transition to the afterlife, and often during rituals ancient people left some things near the door, in the hope of a happy life after death.

Now the Giants' grave has niche in nearly 15 meters long, and the cells around it. Inside, there is an underground tunnel and a funeral hall.

Near the tomb is located parking, cafe and ticketing services.
