Open Beach, Dubai
Open Beach is the longest beach among all the public beaches in Dubai. It is well-liked among Russian speaking travellers, that's why it's got second name - Russian Beach.

Wide sand coastline, fine clean sand, shallow way in, crystal clear water are among advantages of this place. Here you can rent beach chairs and umbrellas. Shower, changing stalls, WCs are free of charge. Next to the beach you can find a park, running and race tracks, parking lot (4 dirhams per hour on week days, and free of charge on weekends).

Because of its popularity the beach is not so clean as others in Dubai, but from this one you can see skyscrapers, the highest building in the world Burj Khalifa and Burj Al Arad hotel. Besides that on Open Beach there is a surf-riders club SurfHous Dubai. You can rent a surf board and take a few surfing lessons. On weekends the beach is overcrowded, so it's better to come here on week-days.
